Electrical Engineering Apprentice in Harworth Doncaster
Training is paramount for our customers experience of an AEL engineer, so all our staff are trained to the highest standards. We do this through Personal Professional Development (PPD) and all employees have the chance of becoming shareholders after being with the company for more than four years. By being part of this select group gives them the opportunity to shape the future of AEL and also receive dividends on the company’s profits.
To qualify for this electrical apprenticeship, we ask you are:
- Over 16 years old.
- Passed at least 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English).
- Willing to learn.
- Able to work in a team.
- Tidy when working.
- Eligible UK citizen living around the Harworth, Doncaster area.
Where will you work?
Our electricians work for clients based all over the UK on a variety of works ranging from fixed wire testing to LED lighting installation. We have contracts for commercial and industrial customers such as Cranswick Foods and NMCN. We usually work for customers in a 50 mile radius and all branches outside of the 50 miles to ensure all premises are fully compliant. It is not very frequent our electricians work away – everyone is home safe the same day. With so many sites with different works, your portfolio will be one of the best.
Pay and Progression
As a new apprentice you will be paid the national minimum wage, but we do reward hard work. AEL is known for it’s great career progression and we offer bonuses for no days off. We will always treat all staff like family.
